Break habits and try something new
People are creatures of habit. But it is time to break habits and try something new: for example, foods based on so-called alternative proteins. What is alternative about them? These proteins originate from plants, microorganisms or cell cultures. They are produced using biotechnology and bioprocess engineering, and enzymes improve their digestibility, texture and taste.
Alternative proteins are the food proteins of the future. Their consumption contributes to the use of less water, less energy, less land and less livestock farming. This in turn promotes biodiversity and protects the climate. Are you on board with alternative proteins?
