3. General information o the legal basis for data processing on this website

(1) If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR or Art. 9 (2) lit. a GDPR, if special categories of data are processed according to Art. 9 (1) GDPR.

(2) In the event of express consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, data processing will also be carried out on the basis of Art. 49 (1) a GDPR.

(3) If you have consented to the storage of cookies or to the access to information in your terminal device (e.g. via device fingerprinting), the data processing is additionally carried out on the basis of Section 25 (1) TTDSG. The consent can be revoked at any time.

(4) If your data is required for the performance of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

(5) Furthermore, if your data is required for the fulfillment of a legal obligation, we process it on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR.

(6) Furthermore, data processing may be carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Information on the relevant legal basis in each individual case is provided in the following paragraphs of this privacy policy.

4. Collection of personal data when using this website

(1) When using this website, we only collect personal data that your browser transmits to our server or the web space provider of this website (server log files). (2) Further personal data is collected by us only for the purpose of processing the registration for the 30th anniversary celebration of BRAIN Biotech AG. These are in detail:

- First and last name of the participating person

- Email address of the participating person

This data is used exclusively for the registration in participant lists, the confirmation of the registration as well as the further flow of information about the event (e.g. transmission of the schedule/program). By registering for the event, you automatically give us your consent to the further use of your data (legal basis Art. 6 para. 1 lit a GDPR).

This website uses different types of cookies, which depend on the functions used on our website. The legal basis for the use of these cookies results either from Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract performance), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent on your part) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (protection of legitimate interest regarding functionality, security and stability of the website).

(1) We use the services of the homepage provider Wix.com Ltd, Nemal St. 40, 6350671 Tel Aviv, Israel, hereinafter referred to as "WIX", which provides a web-based tool for creating and hosting websites. (2) WIX is used on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR due to our legitimate interest in the reliable presentation of our website. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) as defined by the TTDSG. (3) We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the above-mentioned provider. This is a contract required by the GDPT, which ensures that this provider only processes the personal data of our website visitors in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

(4) As part of the provision and website hosting, all data collected during your visit to our website is stored and processed on servers of WIX.
